Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time basis (minimum of 20 hours per week). The successful candidate will manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensure accuracy in our accounting records, and support our leadership team with timely financial insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and reconcile daily transactions using QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and submit HST filings.
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems.
- Assist with payroll preparation and expense tracking.
- Support management with financial reporting and analysis as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven bookkeeping experience (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Strong proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently.
- Experience in construction or renovation industries is considered an asset.
